Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Active RN license (must be in good standing)
  • At least 2 years of recent experience in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) nursing
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Strong knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures and instrumentation
  • Adaptable, team-oriented attitude with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional patient care throughout surgical procedures in the CVOR
  • Assist surgeons and anesthesia teams with specialized cardiovascular cases
  • Ensure strict adherence to sterile technique and infection control standards
  • Monitor and document patient vitals, responses, and progress during surgery
  • Participate in preoperative and postoperative patient assessments and education
