Travel CVOR Registered Nurse - Operating Room (RN) in Charleston, SC

Schedule / Hours:

• 8-hour day shifts, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
• Two weekday call shifts
• Weekend call every 3rd to 4th weekend

Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• Minimum of one year of recent CVOR nursing experience
• Demonstrated competency in cardiac, open heart, vascular, and endovascular procedures
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and teamwork abilities
• Flexibility to adapt to rapidly changing circumstances in the OR

Primary Responsibilities:

• Circulate and/or scrub on a variety of cardiac, vascular, and endovascular surgeries
• Monitor patient status and provide perioperative care in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Prepare surgical suites, equipment, and ensure adherence to aseptic technique
• Participate in pre-op and post-op patient education and assessment
• Respond effectively to emergencies and maintain compliance with facility policies
