Schedule & Shift Details:

  • 12-hour day shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • 36 hours per week
  • On-call expectations: 4–5 weeknight calls and 1–2 weekends per six-week schedule
  • Weekend duty is typically limited to call coverage
  • Holiday involvement: May be scheduled to work or be on call as part of a fair rotation
  • No floating required

Qualifications:

  • Valid RN license with current registration
  • Minimum one year of recent CVOR nursing experience, including proficiency in circulating cardiac and vascular cases
  • BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
  • Strong ability to communicate within interdisciplinary teams
  • Demonstrated critical thinking under pressure

Key Responsibilities:

  • Circulate and/or scrub within the Cardiovascular Operating Room
  • Assess, plan, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with surgical teams
  • Maintain strict adherence to all safety, sterile and infection prevention protocols
  • Anticipate surgeon and patient needs during complex procedures
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced staff
  • Document procedures and patient status accurately

$2,178 - $2,304/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
