This opportunity is ideal for Registered Nurses with Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience seeking to broaden their horizons by working in a high-acuity surgical environment. Schedule/Hours:

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid RN license, in good standing.
  • Recent experience in a CVOR setting.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to patient safety and positive surgical outcomes.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist with cardiovascular surgical procedures as part of an expert interdisciplinary team.
  • Demonstrate advanced sterile technique and knowledge of CVOR instrumentation.
  • Monitor patients’ status and respond swiftly to changing conditions in the OR.
  • Accurately document interventions and maintain comprehensive perioperative records.
  • Educate and support patients and families throughout the surgical experience.
  • Participate in quality initiatives and ongoing professional development activities.
