Qualifications & Experience:

• Active RN license required
• Recent experience in CVOR nursing, including direct involvement in heart and lung transplants
• Scrubbing skills considered a strong advantage
• Strong critical thinking and communication abilities
• Compassionate approach and the capability to work efficiently in a high-acuity, fast-paced setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac and thoracic surgeries
• Collaborate with specialty surgical and anesthesia teams during procedures
• Scrub and circulate in the operating room as needed
• Monitor patient safety and respond expertly to emergent situations
• Manage preoperative and postoperative patient care
• Participate in taking call as scheduled
