Qualifications:
- Active RN license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years’ recent CVOR experience with direct involvement in heart and lung transplant cases
- Proficiency circulating cardiac procedures; ability to scrub is highly desirable
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong communication, adaptability, and perceptive teamwork skills
- Willingness to take call as scheduled
Key Responsibilities:
- Circulate (and ideally scrub) for cardiac and thoracic procedures, focusing on transplant and advanced CVOR cases
- Collaborate with surgical, anesthesia, and perfusion teams to uphold patient safety and positive outcomes
- Support perioperative assessment, equipment management, and intraoperative documentation
- Respond to urgent situations efficiently while maintaining composure under pressure
- Participate in call coverage rotation as required
