Travel CVOR Registered Nurse - Operating room | Clinton, New York

Schedule / Hours:

• Two 10-hour shifts per week
• On-call up to 7 days per four-week schedule, including one full weekend
• 13-week assignment

Qualifications:

• Active New York State RN license
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program with an associate's degree or higher
• Minimum one year of CVOR nursing experience
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Comfortable floating to other units if census is low

Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care to adult CVOR patients (common diagnoses include CAD, AS, MR)
• Manage 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratios in a focused 2-bed surgical unit
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal surgical outcomes
• Utilize EPIC for electronic documentation and Omnicell for medication management
• Adapt to varying unit needs and participate in flexible scheduling
