Schedule:

  • Shift: 6:15 AM – 6:45 PM

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current and unrestricted RN license (California)
  • Minimum of two years’ recent CVOR RN experience in an acute care setting
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications
  • Strong understanding of cardiovascular surgical procedures, instruments, and protocols
  • Ability to work collaboratively and efficiently in high-stress environments
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and skilled nursing care to cardiovascular surgical patients before, during, and after procedures
  • Assist the surgical team with preparation, maintenance, and operation of CVOR equipment and supplies
  • Monitor patient status, communicate observations clearly, and respond promptly to emergent situations
  • Ensure strict compliance with infection control standards and clinical safety protocols
  • Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and support continuous quality improvement initiatives
