Schedule:
- Shift: 6:15 AM – 6:45 PM
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current and unrestricted RN license (California)
- Minimum of two years’ recent CVOR RN experience in an acute care setting
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications
- Strong understanding of cardiovascular surgical procedures, instruments, and protocols
- Ability to work collaboratively and efficiently in high-stress environments
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and skilled nursing care to cardiovascular surgical patients before, during, and after procedures
- Assist the surgical team with preparation, maintenance, and operation of CVOR equipment and supplies
- Monitor patient status, communicate observations clearly, and respond promptly to emergent situations
- Ensure strict compliance with infection control standards and clinical safety protocols
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and support continuous quality improvement initiatives
