Advance your nursing career in a dynamic Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) environment. This 13-week contract opportunity is designed for skilled Registered Nurses seeking to broaden their expertise and make a meaningful impact alongside a skilled surgical team.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 12-hour day shifts
  • 36 hours per week
  • On-call responsibilities include one weekend per month and 1-2 weeknights per week

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active RN license with a minimum of one year of CVOR experience
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Proven ability to work effectively in high-pressure surgical environments
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient care skills
  • Commitment to excellence and team collaboration

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care during cardiovascular surgical procedures
  • Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists
  • Monitor patient conditions throughout the perioperative process, ensuring safety and optimal outcomes
  • Prepare and maintain a sterile operating environment in accordance with hospital protocols
  • Educate and advocate for patients and families regarding surgical procedures and post-operative care
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and infection control standards to maintain patient wellbeing
