Schedule/Hours:
- 40 hours per week
- 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts, with 6am start times; choose from five 8’s, four 10’s, or three 12’s
- Block scheduling available
- 48 hours of call per 6-week period and one weekend per month required
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Active RN license in Michigan
- BLS certification required
- Previous OR experience is a must
- Demonstrated Cardiac Scrub proficiency
- Strong patient advocacy and teaching abilities
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and deliver comprehensive, compassionate care in the CVOR setting
- Apply the nursing process for effective assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Delegate, supervise, and document patient care activities
- Facilitate collaboration among patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Proactively address and solve variances from patient care goals
