Schedule/Hours:

  • Travel assignment with variable shifts (specifics provided during interview)

Required Experience & Qualifications:

  • Active RN license in good standing
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent CVOR nursing experience
  • Strong understanding of cardiovascular surgical procedures and perioperative patient care
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new technology and protocols

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgical procedures
  • Scrub and circulate during open-heart surgeries, including CABG, valve replacements, and other advanced cases
  • Promote safety by adhering to protocols for infection control and patient monitoring
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary surgical teams and physicians to coordinate patient care
  • Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic health records
  • Maintain sterile fields and manage specialized CVOR equipment
