• Must be able to take call as part of the schedule

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse license (required)
• Specialized experience in CVOR procedures
• Experience with heart and lung transplants (required)
• Scrub experience is a plus
• Strong critical thinking, flexibility, and ability to work under pressure
• BLS/ACLS certifications (preferred)
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert perioperative nursing care for cardiac patients, including those requiring heart and lung transplants
• Support surgeons and anesthesia staff throughout procedures
• Perform roles as a circulator and, if experienced, scrub nurse in the CVOR
• Monitor and assess patient status pre-, intra-, and post-operatively
• Ensure a safe and sterile surgical environment
• Participate in on-call rotation as required
