Qualifications:

• Active RN license (state or compact).
• Minimum two years of recent CVOR/cardiovascular surgery experience.
• Proficiency with heart and lung transplants required.
• Scrubbing experience (preferred but not required).
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Strong critical thinking, adaptability, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care during complex cardiac procedures.
• Assist with heart and lung transplant surgeries.
• Manage preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patient care in a CVOR setting.
• Scrub or circulate as part of the surgical team, utilizing strong clinical expertise.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for urgent procedures.
• Adhere to evidence-based practices and safety standards while fostering a collaborative environment.
