As a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) RN, you will gain invaluable experience working with advanced technologies such as Impella, ECMO, Bypass pumps, and laser (lead extraction) EVH, expanding your technical skills and building your professional portfolio. Collaborate with a tight-knit team in a two-room OR setting, where you’ll be challenged by a diverse case mix—including joint replacement, vascular and thoracic surgery, plastics, and more—enabling you to further your versatility across multiple surgical specialties. Exposure to different documentation systems and varied staff structures will help hone your adaptability and clinical judgment—qualities highly valued for career advancement.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Day Shift: 1 RN, 1 Tech
  • On-call rotation (split among staff), rotating weekends possible

Qualifications:

  • Active ACLS and BLS certifications
  • Minimum 2 years’ recent experience in an acute OR setting
  • Ability to scrub and proficiency in all service lines
  • Strong critical thinking, multitasking, and patient assessment skills
  • Experienced with Meditech documentation

Preferred Experience:

  • Familiarity with multiple surgical specialties such as robotics, ortho, spine, GYN
  • Expertise in efficient, accurate charting
  • Professional bedside manner

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive perioperative care, including observation, assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
  • Participate in all surgical specialties served by the unit
  • Maintain high standards in patient safety and procedural protocols
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation
