Travel CVOR Registered Nurse - Operating Room (RN) in Fort Lauderdale, FL

Schedule/Hours:

• Day Shift: 1 RN, 1 Tech
• On-call (split and staffing-dependent)
• Rotating weekends possible

Essential Qualifications:

• Active RN license, current ACLS & BLS certifications
• Minimum 2 years’ recent acute OR experience
• Proficiency in scrubbing and circulating in all service lines, particularly CVOR
• Ability to work 1:1 patient ratios, in a 2-room environment, alongside a dedicated surgical team
• Experience with advanced equipment: Impella, ECMO, Bypass pump, Laser (lead extraction), EVH, Rapid Transfuser
• Must be comfortable using Meditech documentation system

Preferred Skills:

• Strong capabilities in surgical specialties beyond CVOR, including robotics, orthopedics, spine, and GYN
• Aptitude for efficient multi-tasking, accurate charting, and providing compassionate patient care
• Demonstrated critical thinking and excellent bedside manner

Role Responsibilities:

• Scrub and circulate across a wide range of surgical specialties
• Observe, assess, diagnose, plan, and evaluate all aspects of patient care in high-acuity surgical settings
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Meditech
• Collaborate with techs and fellow RNs, adapting to dynamic team environments
• Participate in split on-call shifts based on staffing needs
