Key Qualifications:

• Valid RN license, in good standing, eligible to practice in Florida
• Minimum of 2 years’ recent experience in a CVOR setting
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proficiency in CVOR procedures, instrumentation, and sterile technique
• Strong communication, assessment, and critical-thinking skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Circulate and/or scrub for CVOR surgical procedures, ensuring adherence to all safety protocols
• Collaborate with surgical team members, assisting surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perfusionists as required
• Monitor and document patient status before, during, and after operative procedures
• Maintain, prepare, and oversee the integrity of surgical equipment and supplies
• Provide patient and family education related to pre- and post-surgical care
