Key Qualifications:

  • Active, unrestricted RN license
  • Proven experience in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) settings
  • Proficiency in scrubbing, circulating, and assisting during cardiovascular surgical cases
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Excellent assessment, communication, and organizational skills
  • Adaptability in high-acuity, fast-paced operating room environments

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the OR with necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment specific to cardiovascular cases
  • Scrub and circulate during open-heart, vascular, and thoracic surgeries
  • Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to ensure safe, effective procedures
  • Monitor patient status and respond to clinical needs throughout each phase of surgery
  • Uphold infection control practices and maintain a sterile field at all times
  • Document patient care accurately and promptly per policy requirements
  • Participate in surgical time-outs, briefings, and debriefings to promote optimal outcomes

$2,350 - $2,486/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
