CVOR RN in Frisco, TX

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in CVOR who is ready to excel in a dynamic surgical environment. The position is structured as a contract role and provides you with the opportunity to work alongside dedicated professionals focused on exceptional patient care.

Schedule:

• 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license, valid in the state of Texas
• Minimum of two years’ recent experience in CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong clinical assessment skills and knowledgeable in cardiovascular surgical procedures
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Adaptability in a high-acuity, fast-paced OR setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative nursing care to cardiovascular surgical patients
• Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams
• Adhere to evidence-based protocols and surgical safety standards
• Monitor and document patient status, promptly reporting changes to the appropriate team members
• Maintain surgical field integrity and sterile technique throughout procedures
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures and post-surgical care when appropriate
