Embark on a rewarding nursing assignment utilizing your expertise in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) care. This contract role offers the opportunity to support operating room teams and provide critical care to cardiovascular patients during surgical procedures.
Schedule:
- 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM shifts
- Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays
Desired Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted RN license
- Proven experience as a CVOR nurse
- Strong understanding of perioperative cardiac and vascular care
- Ability to anticipate the needs of surgeons and surgical teams
- Current certifications in BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association preferred)
- Excellent critical thinking skills and surgical asepsis knowledge
- Strong communication abilities and commitment to patient safety
Responsibilities:
- Participate in all phases of cardiac and vascular operations, including pre-op, intra-op, and post-op care
- Monitor patient condition during procedures and collaborate with the surgical team for optimal outcomes
- Maintain strict adherence to sterile techniques and infection control protocols
- Document all patient care activities and respond swiftly to any intraoperative changes
- Support patient advocacy and coordinate with physicians and allied staff for seamless care delivery
- Ensure all equipment and supplies specific to CVOR procedures are in place and functioning

$2,299 - $2,432/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
