CVOR Registered Nurse - Operating Room (RN) in Frisco, TX

Experienced registered nurses passionate about cardiovascular surgical care are invited to join a specialized team providing exceptional care in a CVOR setting. This contract role offers the opportunity to contribute advanced nursing skills alongside dedicated surgical professionals, ensuring top standards of care for patients undergoing complex cardiac procedures.

Schedule:

• 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current and unrestricted RN license
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a CVOR RN
• Advanced knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures and sterile techniques
• BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
• Exceptional critical thinking, adaptability, and communication skills
• Strong commitment to patient-centered care and respect for safety protocols

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac surgery
• Prepare operating rooms with necessary instruments, supplies, and medications
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists throughout procedures
• Monitor patient status and respond promptly to critical situations
• Ensure scrupulous adherence to infection control and safety standards
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation in patient records
