CVOR Registered Nurse - Operating Room (RN) - Garland, TX

An exceptional nursing opportunity is available for experienced Registered Nurses with specialized skills in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) care. Schedule:

• 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active and unrestricted RN license
• Minimum of one year recent experience in a CVOR or relevant operating room setting
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS
• Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills
• Ability to function effectively in high-stress and fast-paced clinical settings
• Familiarity with advanced CVOR technologies, procedures, and best practices

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgical procedures
• Coordinate with surgical teams, anesthesiologists, and support staff to deliver efficient intraoperative assistance
• Monitor patient condition before, during, and after procedures, ensuring meticulous charting and compliance with protocols
• Maintain strict adherence to safety and infection control guidelines within the CVOR
• Participate in preoperative assessments and postoperative care plan implementation
• Respond swiftly to emergency intraoperative situations as part of the surgical team
