CVOR Registered Nurse - Operating Room (RN) in Garland, TX

A rewarding opportunity awaits experienced Registered Nurses with Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) expertise. Schedule:

• 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM shifts
• Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday

Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted RN license
• Minimum of 2 years’ recent CVOR nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Expertise in circulating and scrubbing for cardiovascular surgeries
• Effective communication and critical thinking skills
• Commitment to maintaining patient safety and strict adherence to surgical protocols

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in all phases of cardiovascular surgical procedures, including patient preparation, intraoperative monitoring, and postoperative care
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical techs in a dynamic OR environment
• Administer medications and monitor patient vitals throughout procedures
• Maintain and account for surgical instruments and supplies, ensuring a sterile field is upheld
• Accurately document patient care in compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards
• Provide support and education to patients and family members regarding pre- and post-operative care
