Bring your specialized expertise to a dynamic cardiovascular operating room environment. We're seeking an experienced RN with strong CVOR skills to support surgical teams on a contract basis. This opportunity offers the chance to work alongside dedicated clinical professionals, contributing directly to positive patient outcomes in a fast-paced setting.

Schedule:

  • 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
  • Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license (unencumbered and in good standing)
  • At least one year of recent CVOR nursing experience required
  • BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
  • Proficient in scrub and circulating roles during cardiac and vascular surgical procedures
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to thrive under pressure
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, particularly in multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality perioperative nursing care throughout pre-, intra-, and post-operative phases for cardiac and vascular patients
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols, infection control measures, and regulatory guidelines
  • Monitor patient status, respond to emergencies, and document interventions thoroughly
  • Assist in care coordination and continuous assessment to anticipate and meet patient needs
  • Educate patients and their families as appropriate
