Responsibilities:

• Deliver top-quality nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgery within the OR
• Prepare patients and operating rooms for procedures, ensuring adherence to rigorous safety and compliance protocols
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other OR staff before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Monitor patient status and manage hemodynamics intraoperatively
• Accurately document all care activities and maintain meticulous surgical records
• Assist in patient education and post-operative recovery planning

Required Qualifications:

• Current and valid RN license
• Minimum of 2 years’ recent CVOR experience preferred
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications
• Scrub and circulating experience in cardiovascular surgery
• Strong skills in critical thinking, communication, and teamwork
