Key Qualifications:
- Current, unencumbered RN license
- Minimum of 2 years’ recent CVOR nursing experience
- Proficiency in assisting with a variety of cardiac and vascular surgeries
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and collaborative skills
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced surgical environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive perioperative care to cardiovascular surgery patients
- Skillfully circulate and/or scrub during CVOR procedures
- Support the surgical team by anticipating needs and maintaining strict sterile techniques
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and accurate documentation at every stage
