Key Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons during cardiac and vascular surgical procedures, ensuring the highest standard of patient safety and sterile technique
• Prepare and maintain operating room instruments, supplies, and equipment specific to CVOR cases
• Monitor patient vitals and provide direct preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care to ensure optimal outcomes
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, surgical technologists, and other healthcare staff to coordinate care and achieve patient goals
• Document all nursing care accurately and maintain thorough electronic health records
• Respond swiftly and calmly to emergencies, using advanced clinical judgment

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Proven experience in a CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) setting
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
• Strong understanding of cardiovascular surgical protocols and sterile techniques
• Excellent critical thinking, communication, and team collaboration skills
