Qualifications and Experience:

• Current, unrestricted RN license
• Demonstrated experience in CVOR settings
• Thorough understanding of perioperative nursing principles and sterile technique
• Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care
• Skilled in independent and delegated medical functions within scope of licensing and facility protocols
• Strong communication and documentation skills, aligned with hospital and regulatory requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional direct care and support to cardiovascular surgical patients, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Independently and accurately assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care across pre-, intra-, and post-operative phases
• Execute delegated medical functions and interventions with precision
• Conduct ongoing evaluations of patient health status via continuous data collection and clinical assessments
• Provide patient and family education, health teaching, and counseling tailored to individual needs
• Oversee therapy and treatment plans, making referrals for further evaluation or treatment as needed
• Utilize available resources for optimal patient outcomes
• Adhere strictly to hospital mission, values, policies, and service behavior standards
• Document all care in compliance with regulatory guidelines
• Float to other departments within competency as business needs arise
• Participate in on-call rotations as required during regular shifts
