Deliver advanced patient care as a CVOR RN in a busy operating room setting. This contract opportunity is based in Grand Prairie, TX, and involves supporting surgical teams in a hospital environment equipped with 10 operating rooms. The role requires a strong clinical background in orthopedic and trauma cases, with day and night shifts both available. On-call coverage is required between 4-6 shifts per month, and weekend shift participation may be needed.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Day and night shifts available
  • On-call requirement: 4-6 shifts per month
  • Weekend shifts as needed

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license with experience in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
  • Completion of PeriOp 101 required
  • Demonstrated background in orthopedic and trauma procedures
  • Competence with EMR systems in a surgical setting
  • Current certifications as required for the position

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous work in high-volume OR environments
  • Flexibility in floating to additional related care areas

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures
  • Collaborate with surgeons, surgical technologists, and ancillary staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintain adherence to infection control and safety protocols
  • Accurately document patient assessments and intraoperative events
  • Comply with all unit guidelines, dress code (scrubs), and code of conduct policies

$2,299 - $2,432/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
