Qualifications:

• Current and valid RN license
• Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR nursing experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA preferred)
• Ability to scrub and circulate in cardiovascular operating room procedures
• Excellent critical thinking and communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to provide safe, effective care during cardiovascular surgeries
• Prepare the OR, including equipment setup and sterility assurance
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care before, during, and after procedures
• Document all interventions and patient responses accurately
• Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols
• Serve as a patient advocate, ensuring comfort and emotional support throughout surgical experiences
