Qualifications:

• Active and unencumbered RN license (state or compact accepted)
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in CVOR nursing
• Advanced understanding of cardiovascular surgical procedures and protocols
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong communication, adaptability, and critical-thinking skills
• Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-acuity environments

Responsibilities:

• Circulate and/or scrub for cardiovascular surgeries in a dynamic OR setting
• Assist surgeons and anesthesia teams with instrumentation, monitoring, and specimen handling
• Ensure safe patient care before, during, and after surgical interventions
• Maintain accurate documentation and advocate for best patient outcomes
• Support and educate patients and families throughout the perioperative process
