CVOR Registered Nurse - Operating room | Hendersonville, Tennessee

Step into a dynamic, highly specialized cardiac surgery environment supporting a Level 1 trauma center with a renowned surgical team. This contract nursing opportunity requires expertise in both scrubbing and circulating cardiac surgeries, ideally suited for seasoned CVOR RNs ready to make an impact in a large surgical unit.

Schedule & Shifts

• 12-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Days of the week may vary according to departmental needs
• Required to participate in call rotation (3 layers of call, 24/7, with requirements varying every 6 weeks)
• Multiple orientation start dates available: 6/29, 7/6, 7/13, 7/20, 7/27

Qualifications

• Current RN license with at least 2 years of recent CVOR experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Proficient in both scrubbing and circulating for cardiac procedures
• Expertise with complex surgeries: CABG, valve, repeat cardiac, heart failure, ECMO, VAD, heart/lung transplants, PTE, cardiac trauma, and adult congenital cases
• Comfortable working exclusively with adult populations (no peds)
• Strong adaptability to float within the OR setting as needed (not across locations)
• Willingness to fulfill all call obligations
