Travel CVOR Registered Nurse - Operating Room (RN) in Hollywood, FL

Schedule/Hours:

• Day shift staffing: 1 RN, 1 Tech
• Rotating weekends possible
• On-call requirements are dependent on staffing and split among the team

Qualifications:

• Active RN license with current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Minimum of 2 years’ recent acute OR experience
• Proficient in scrubbing and all operating room service lines
• Capable of functioning in both CVOR and additional surgical specialties (robotics, ortho, spine, GYN)
• Strong multi-tasking skills, critical thinking ability, and an excellent bedside manner
• Documented experience with Meditech charting preferred

Typical Procedures and Duties:

• Joint replacement, ENT, orthopedics, spine, urology, and podiatry
• Vascular, thoracic, and plastic surgeries, as well as laser lead extractions
• Expertise in use of Impella, ECMO, bypass pump, EVH, and rapid transfuser equipment
• Direct responsibility for patient assessment, diagnosis, care planning, intervention, and evaluation
• Meticulous asset/documentation management and proficient charting
• On-call rotation as needed
