This assignment seeks a skilled Registered Nurse with Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience to support surgical teams in a dynamic operating room environment. The contract position offers the opportunity to deliver exceptional perioperative care within a busy surgical unit.
Schedule:
- Contract assignment
- Day and night shifts available
- On-call requirement: 4–6 shifts per month
- Weekend availability as needed
Qualifications:
- Active, unrestricted RN license
- Completion of PeriOp 101
- Recent experience in both orthopedic and trauma cases within an operating room setting
- Strong clinical skills and adaptability in a multidisciplinary team environment
- BLS and other certifications as required by institutional policy
Preferred Experience:
- Demonstrated competency with a variety of surgical procedures
- Familiarity with EMR systems
- Previous CVOR experience highly valued
Key Responsibilities:
- Circulate and/or scrub in an operating room with 10 OR suites
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, CSTs, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures
- Manage surgical instruments and equipment according to protocols and infection control guidelines
- Respond effectively to intraoperative emergencies and evolving patient needs
- Adhere to strict standards regarding attire (scrub color/attire per current policy)
- Support department needs by floating to related perioperative areas when needed

$2,299 - $2,432/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
