Travel CVOR Registered Nurse - Operating Room (RN) in Irving, TX

Hours & Schedule:

• Variable shifts (guaranteed 36 hours per week)
• On-call required (details discussed during interview)
• 13-week assignment
• Weekend scheduling discussed during interview

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for surgery adhering to facility protocols.
• Provide perioperative care for adult, adolescent, and geriatric populations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams within a state-of-the-art Level III Trauma Center.
• Maintain rigorous documentation using Meditech EMR.
• Support a patient-focused environment across general, gyn, ortho, spine, robotic, and vascular surgical specialties.
• Float to other units as necessary.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Current TX RN license (no temporary permits accepted)
• 2+ years of direct Day Surgery and CVOR nursing experience
• Advanced certification: ACLS, PALS, BLS
• Proven adaptability; excellent communication and a welcoming, positive attitude
• Strong background in medical/surgical, cardiovascular, oncology, orthopedics, neuroscience, and bariatric nursing
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR preferred
