Schedule/Hours:

  • Assignment length: 13 weeks
  • Shift: Variable (36 guaranteed hours/week)
  • Weekend requirements discussed during interview
  • On call required

Qualifications:

  • Active Texas RN license (no temporary licenses accepted)
  • Minimum 2+ years of recent day surgery and OR experience
  • Current ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications
  • Proficiency with Meditech documentation system (preferred)
  • Experience with adult, geriatric, and adolescent populations
  • Positive, collaborative attitude with strong communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and recover surgical patients in a fast-paced environment
  • Deliver care across multidisciplinary surgical specialties: cardiovascular, ortho, neuro, oncology, bariatric, spine, robotics, vascular, and more
  • Practice according to facility procedures and attendance policies
  • Float to units as needed for optimal patient care
