Key Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with current registration
• Demonstrated expertise in CVOR nursing, particularly in heart and lung transplants
• Ability to scrub is a strong advantage
• Previous cardiac surgery experience highly preferred
• Proven reliability with participation in on-call rotations
• Excellent interpersonal and critical-thinking skills

Responsibilities:

• Deliver expert nursing care throughout cardiac transplant and lung transplant cases
• Circulate and (ideally) scrub in CVOR surgical procedures
• Collaborate seamlessly with surgeons, anesthesia, and multidisciplinary team members
• Thoroughly monitor, assess, and document patient status pre-op, intra-op, and post-op
• Uphold the highest standards of patient safety and infection control
• Swiftly evaluate complications and respond to emergencies with composure
