CVOR Registered Nurse - Operating Room (RN) in Lehigh Acres, FL

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active and unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience working in a CVOR setting
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong understanding of cardiovascular surgical procedures and protocols
• Exceptional communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to respond quickly and effectively in high-pressure situations

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized nursing care during cardiovascular surgeries and procedures
• Prepare and maintain the CVOR, ensuring a sterile operative environment
• Monitor patient status intraoperatively and advocate for safety at all times
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical team members
• Accurately document all intraoperative nursing activities and patient responses
• Support patient and family education pre- and post-operatively
