Key Qualifications:

  • Active, unrestricted RN license
  • Strong background in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) nursing
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of recent CVOR experience preferred
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Superb organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in dynamic, high-pressure environments

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist surgeons during cardiovascular procedures in the operating room
  • Maintain strict adherence to sterile techniques and safety protocols
  • Monitor and assess patient status before, during, and following procedures
  • Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Document all aspects of patient care accurately and promptly
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families
