CVOR Registered Nurse - Operating Room (RN) in Mansfield, TX

Exciting opportunity available for an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) care. This contract role calls for expertise in a high-acuity surgical unit featuring 10 state-of-the-art operating rooms and a dynamic team environment. As part of a collaborative perioperative group, you’ll provide exceptional care to patients during complex cardiovascular, orthopedic, and trauma procedures.

Schedule/Hours:

• Day and night shifts available for RNs
• Required on-call commitment: 4–6 shifts per month
• Weekend shifts and on-call rotations based on unit needs

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active RN license and current required certifications
• Documented completion of PeriOp 101 program
• Strong background in orthopedic and trauma cases is a must
• Extensive experience in OR nursing; proficiency with cardiovascular surgical procedures preferred
• Adaptability and teamwork skills suited to a fast-paced surgical suite
• Prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care to individuals undergoing cardiovascular, orthopedic, and trauma surgeries
• Circulate and/or scrub in CVOR procedures as needed
• Support a collaborative environment among surgeons, techs, and fellow nurses
• Ensure all perioperative safety protocols, guidelines, and policies are followed rigorously
• Participate in ongoing education, training, and compliance initiatives
