Qualifications / Experience:
- Current, unrestricted RN license
- Previous nursing experience in a Cardiovascular Operating Room required
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and sterile field protocols
- Exceptional teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care in the CVOR, including circulating and scrubbing duties
- Follow strict infection control procedures and surgical protocols
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia staff, and surgical techs to ensure patient safety
- Monitor patient vitals and response during procedures
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and pre/post-op management
