You’ll engage in a 13-week assignment, balancing dynamic CVOR responsibilities with opportunities to float to General OR as needed. Schedule/Hours:

• Three 12-hour day shifts each week
• Weekend call required: 48-60 hours per 4-week period (on-call rooms provided for comfort and rest)
• Assignment length: 13 weeks
• Available start dates every Monday

Role Expectations and Responsibilities:

• Deliver expert CVOR nursing care for all cardiac and vascular cases, with an emphasis on endovascular procedures
• Float between various operating rooms as needed (advance notice provided for campus changes)
• Maintain readiness to support on-call surgical situations, contributing to cohesive patient care during urgent circumstances
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, learning from diverse leadership and best practice approaches

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in Georgia or compact state (required before start)
• Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR nursing experience
• Strong proficiency in cardiac, vascular, and endovascular procedures
• Experience in neurosurgery, surgical oncology, and robotics preferred
• Willingness to float between campuses within the network
