Advance your nursing career in a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) role, working alongside a collaborative and highly skilled surgical team. As a Registered Nurse specialized in CVOR nursing, you'll provide critical intraoperative care and support for patients undergoing complex cardiovascular procedures.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
  • Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday shifts

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse license (RN)
  • Minimum of 2 years recent CVOR experience
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Demonstrated proficiency with surgical equipment and sterile techniques
  • Excellent critical thinking and assessment skills
  • Ability to perform well in fast-paced, high-stress surgical environments
  • Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver safe and effective perioperative care to patients in the Cardiovascular OR
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs during complex cardiovascular procedures
  • Monitor patients’ vital signs, ECG, and respond promptly to changes in condition
  • Maintain strict adherence to sterile techniques and surgical protocols
  • Prepare and handle specialized cardiovascular equipment and instruments
  • Document all patient care activities accurately in medical records
  • Anticipate the needs of the surgical team for optimal patient outcomes
  • Provide emotional and educational support to patients and their families
