CVOR Registered Nurse - Operating Room (RN) - Mckinney, TX

Schedule:

• 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current, unrestricted RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of cardiovascular operating room experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong knowledge of protocols for cardiac and vascular cases
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced surgical environment
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and critical thinking skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive perioperative care for patients undergoing cardiovascular surgery
• Circulate and scrub on a range of CVOR cases, collaborating closely with surgeons and anesthesia providers
• Ensure surgical instruments and supplies are properly set up and managed throughout procedures
• Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes in condition
• Maintain accurate, detailed documentation within patient records
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
• Participate in ongoing education and training related to cardiovascular surgical nursing
