CVOR Registered Nurse - Operating room - Middletown, Delaware

Qualifications:

• Active and unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) setting
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Scrubbing and circulating experience within a CVOR environment highly preferred
• Demonstrated expertise in supporting complex cardiac procedures
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with surgical teams
• Ability to adapt quickly in high-acuity, fast-paced environments

Role Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other multidisciplinary team members to ensure optimal surgical outcomes
• Prepare the CVOR suite with necessary supplies, medications, and equipment ahead of each procedure
• Function efficiently in scrubbing, circulating, and first assist roles as needed
• Uphold rigorous infection control and patient safety standards throughout every phase of care
• Continuously monitor patient status and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Support post-operative recovery and accurately document all perioperative activities
• Foster a safe, supportive environment for both patients and colleagues
