Key Qualifications:

• Active and unencumbered RN license
• Recent experience working as a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Nurse
• Proficiency in CVOR protocols, sterile technique, and intraoperative patient monitoring
• Strong assessment, decision-making, and communication skills
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Team-oriented with a commitment to using evidence-based practices

Schedule:

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality care to patients during cardiovascular surgical procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and operating room staff, ensuring optimal patient safety
• Monitor patients’ responses before, during, and after surgery, promptly communicating changes in condition
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient information and intraoperative activities
• Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and supplies, ensuring a sterile environment
• Provide support with intraoperative emergencies and participate in code situations if necessary
