Step into a vital role supporting high-acuity cardiovascular surgical teams as a Registered Nurse specializing in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR). As a key clinical expert, you will provide direct patient care before, during, and after cardiovascular surgical procedures, ensuring seamless collaboration among surgeons, anesthesiologists, and fellow OR staff.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current and valid RN license
  • Proven experience in CVOR nursing with strong clinical skills
  • Advanced knowledge of cardiac and vascular surgical protocols and sterile techniques
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Excellent assessment, communication, and critical thinking abilities
  • Familiarity with hemodynamic monitoring and CVOR equipment
  • Ability to function calmly under pressure in fast-paced, high-stakes environments

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver hands-on, pre-, intra-, and post-operative nursing care for cardiovascular surgical patients
  • Collaborate closely with surgical teams to anticipate intraoperative needs and ensure optimal outcomes
  • Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols
  • Monitor, document, and report on patient status throughout surgical procedures
  • Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain advanced cardiovascular surgery technology and instruments
  • Safeguard patient dignity and privacy
  • Participate in team debriefings and quality improvement initiatives related to CVOR practices

$2,374 - $2,502/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
