Responsibilities include assisting in cardiac and vascular operating rooms, closely monitoring patient vitals and conditions, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring seamless perioperative care. Required Qualifications:
- Current, unrestricted RN license
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in cardiovascular operating rooms (CVOR)
- BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA)
- Strong knowledge of surgical asepsis and cardiovascular procedures
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
- Experience in travel assignments preferred, but not required
Key Responsibilities:
- Circulate and/or scrub for cardiovascular surgical procedures
- Maintain strict adherence to safety and infection control standards
- Document surgical care and respond swiftly to emergencies
- Work collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and support staff
- Assist in post-surgical evaluations and unit protocols
