Seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse experienced in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) to fulfill a contract assignment supporting surgical excellence and patient care. This position is perfect for RNs who thrive in high-acuity, team-oriented environments and are confident in advanced operative settings.
Schedule & Shift Details:
- 12-hour day shifts; 36 hours per week
- Typical shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- 4 to 5 weeknight on-call shifts per 6-week schedule
- 1 to 2 weekend on-call shifts per 6-week schedule
- Weekend work is primarily on-call
- Potential for scheduled work or on-call during holidays, in rotation
- No floating to other units required
Qualifications:
- Current, active RN license
- Minimum of 2 years’ recent experience in a CVOR setting
- BLS certification required; ACLS strongly preferred
- Demonstrated expertise in pre-, intra-, and post-operative CVOR nursing care
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Able to effectively handle high-pressure situations and urgent surgical scenarios
Responsibilities:
- Deliver top-quality perioperative care for cardiovascular surgical patients
- Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams in preparing operating rooms and managing patient care throughout procedures
- Maintain and monitor sterile technique and infection control standards
- Respond to emergency situations swiftly and accurately
- Participate in call rotation as scheduled; adhere to timely response requirements for call back
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes

$2,178 - $2,304/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
