CVOR Registered Nurse - Operating Room (RN) in Nashville, TN

Embark on a rewarding opportunity as a CVOR RN in a large, dynamic surgical environment, supporting critical cardiac procedures within a 1,000+ bed, Level 1 trauma center. This contract position is tailored for nursing professionals with a solid background in Cardiac OR nursing, seeking to impact patients undergoing complex cardiovascular interventions.

Schedule/Hours:

• 12-hour shifts, Monday through Friday: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Variable workdays based on unit needs (block scheduling not available)
• Required call throughout the contract; 3 layers of call coverage, 24/7, with frequency varying every six weeks

Qualifications:

• Valid, unencumbered RN license (state or compact as appropriate)
• Minimum of 2 years’ CVOR operating room experience
• Demonstrated ability to scrub and circulate in cardiac surgical procedures
• Prior experience with travel nursing assignments in high-acuity settings
• Confidence managing patient populations including complex CABG, valve, re-operations, VAD, ECMO, heart/lung transplant, PTE, adult congenital, and cardiac trauma
• Experience working exclusively with adult patient populations; no pediatric cases as children's surgeries are conducted in a separate OR
• Comfortable floating between operating rooms within the same hospital
• Willingness and reliability to participate in call rotation as required for cardiac surgery coverage
