CVOR Registered Nurse - Operating room - New Castle, Delaware

Experienced cardiovascular operating room registered nurses are needed for a contract opportunity providing high-quality care in a dynamic surgical environment. Schedule/Hours:

• Full-time, rotating shifts based on procedural needs

Qualifications:

• Active and unencumbered RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required)
• Minimum of 2 years of recent CVOR nursing experience
• Proven ability to circulate and/or scrub for cardiac and vascular procedures
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Detail-oriented with strong critical thinking abilities

Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons during cardiovascular operations, maintaining sterile environments
• Monitor patients pre-, intra-, and post-operatively, responding rapidly to changes
• Document patient care accurately in accordance with regulatory and facility guidelines
• Educate patients and families about procedures and post-surgical care
• Maintain and prepare CVOR equipment and supplies
• Uphold infection control and patient safety standards at all times
