Travel CVOR Registered Nurse - Operating Room (RN) in New Hartford, NY

Key Details:

• Schedule: Two 10-hour shifts per week
• On-Call: Up to 7 days within each four-week period, including one full weekend
• Floating: Flexibility to float if census is low
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in New York State
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (associate's degree or higher)
• Minimum 1 year of recent CVOR RN experience
• ACLS and BLS certifications (current)
• Comfortable with adult cardiovascular patients (CAD, AS, MR)
• EPIC and Omnicell proficiency

Your Responsibilities:

• Collaborate directly with surgical and anesthesia teams in a 2-bed CVOR, maintaining 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratios
• Deliver expert, compassionate care for adult cardiac patients during intricate surgical procedures
• Participate in mandatory on-call rotation and assist throughout the perioperative continuum
• Float to related specialties as needed, adapting to patient and department needs
