Schedule & Hours:

  • Two 10-hour shifts per week
  • On-call: Up to 7 days per four-week schedule, including one full weekend
  • 13-week assignment

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active Registered Nurse license in New York State
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate’s degree or higher)
  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS required
  • At least 1 year of recent CVOR RN experience
  • Experience with adult patients; patient ratio is 1:1
  • Familiarity with CAD, AS, and MR diagnoses
  • Comfortable working with EPIC and Omnicell technology
  • Willingness to float if needed

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized care to adult CVOR patients
  • Collaborate closely with surgeons and perioperative team members
  • Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC
  • Ensure safe medication administration utilizing Omnicell systems
  • Respond to dynamic patient needs during on-call hours
  • Adapt to varying census needs when floating is required
