Qualifications:

  • Current and active RN license
  • Minimum of 2 years’ recent experience in a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Proficiency in cardiovascular surgery protocols, sterile technique, and patient monitoring
  • Exceptional communication and clinical assessment skills
  • Ability to thrive in demanding environments and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary surgical teams

Schedule:

  • Contract-based assignment with a consistent, full-time schedule

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert patient care throughout all phases of cardiovascular surgeries, including preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative
  • Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other OR staff to ensure optimal surgical outcomes
  • Monitor patients’ vital signs and ensure safety throughout procedures
  • Maintain a sterile environment, adhering to strict infection control policies and established protocols
  • Document all care accurately and promptly in patient records
  • Respond expertly to emergencies and unexpected changes in patient condition
