CVOR Registered Nurse - Operating room | Newark, Delaware

Seeking a dedicated registered nurse with CVOR expertise to deliver exceptional perioperative care in a dynamic surgical environment. Qualifications and Experience:

• Active, unrestricted RN license
• At least one year of recent circulating and scrubbing experience in a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) setting
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong understanding of cardiac surgery procedures and protocols
• Excellent communication and clinical assessment skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive patient care throughout the perioperative cardiovascular surgical process
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technicians to ensure safe and efficient procedures
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care for patients undergoing open-heart and vascular surgery
• Monitor patient status, identify complications, and respond rapidly to emergency situations
• Maintain meticulous documentation in compliance with regulatory and hospital standards
• Manage sterile field and uphold strict infection control practices
