What You'll Bring:

  • Active RN license in good standing
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent CVOR nursing experience
  • Strong understanding of cardiovascular surgical procedures and sterile technique
  • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations
  • Excellent communication and critical-thinking skills
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary surgical team

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct, specialized care to patients before, during, and after cardiovascular surgeries
  • Assist the surgical team in preparing and maintaining the operating room for cases
  • Monitor patient status and vital signs, anticipating needs throughout procedures
  • Ensure strict adherence to infection control standards and safety protocols
  • Document all aspects of patient care with accuracy and timeliness
  • Support patients and their families with education and emotional guidance during the perioperative process
  • Participate in surgical team briefings, timeouts, and debriefings to enhance patient safety
