Travel CVOR RN in Petersburg, IL

Responsibilities:

• Provide perioperative nursing care in the cardiovascular operating room with strict adherence to safety and quality standards
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Prepare and maintain the surgical environment, including equipment and supplies, specific to cardiovascular procedures
• Monitor patients’ condition and respond promptly to any changes during surgery
• Document procedures, patient responses, and care accurately and thoroughly

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Current RN licensure with the ability to practice in the assigned state(s)
• Proven experience in CVOR nursing, preferably in cardiovascular surgeries and instrumentation
• Strong knowledge of sterile techniques and perioperative protocols
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within interdisciplinary teams
• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and maintain professionalism under pressure
