Travel CVOR Nurse in Plano, TX

Seeking a Registered Nurse with CVOR expertise to provide skilled care in an advanced surgical environment. This travel opportunity offers experience in a Level I trauma center specializing in both open heart and endovascular surgeries.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular and endovascular procedures.
• Support surgical teams during complex cases, including the use of IABP, Impella, and ECMO.
• Collaborate effectively with cardiothoracic and vascular surgeons in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain patient safety and adherence to surgical protocols in two heart rooms and two hybrid ORs.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license with specialized experience in Cardiovascular Operating Room nursing.
• Proven experience with open heart and endovascular surgery cases.
• Familiarity with advanced cardiovascular support devices such as IABP, Impella, and ECMO.
• Ability to manage 2-10 CV cases daily in a multi-OR setting.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills to work alongside 2 CT surgeons and 8 vascular surgeons.
