Registered Nurse CVOR | Plano, Texas

Looking for an experienced RN with a background in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) nursing to deliver exceptional patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment. This contract opportunity requires dedication, clinical expertise, and the ability to thrive within a multidisciplinary surgical team.

Schedule:

• Shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Days: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

Desired Qualifications:

• Active unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a CVOR setting
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS
• Proficiency in circulating and scrubbing CVOR cases
• Ability to work effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and support staff
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver skilled nursing care to cardiovascular surgical patients before, during, and after procedures
• Collaborate closely with the surgical team to maintain patient safety and aseptic techniques
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and intervene promptly as necessary
• Assist with procedure preparation, instrument management, and surgical site care
• Maintain precise documentation throughout perioperative phases
• Provide patient and family education relevant to surgical care and recovery
