Travel CVOR Registered Nurse - Operating room - Pompano Beach, Florida

In this role, you’ll work in a 2-room unit alongside a dedicated team consisting of an RN and a tech during the day, with rotating on-call coverage. Gain hands-on experience with advanced technology such as Impella, ECMO, bypass pumps, laser (lead extraction), EVH, and rapid transfusers, all while leveraging the Meditech documentation system. The patient ratio is an ideal 1:1, allowing you to provide highly attentive, individualized care.

Schedule:

• Day Shift: 1 RN, 1 Tech
• On-call requirements rotated, dependent on staffing
• Rotating weekends may be required

Your qualifications and background:

• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute OR experience
• Proficiency in scrubbing and circulating across all service lines
• Experience with procedures such as joint replacement, ENT, ortho, spine, urology, vascular, podiatry, thoracic, and plastic surgery
• Ability to function in multiple surgical specialties beyond CVOR is highly preferred
• Strong documentation skills (Meditech), critical thinking ability, and excellent bedside manner
