Schedule/Hours:

  • Travel position with flexible shifts available

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain the cardiovascular operating room, ensuring sterile technique and optimal patient safety.
  • Provide expert intraoperative care during open-heart, vascular, and thoracic surgeries.
  • Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists for seamless care delivery.
  • Monitor patients’ vitals, administer medications, and manage surgical equipment efficiently.
  • Educate and support patients and families through the surgical process.
  • Maintain detailed documentation in accordance with hospital policies.

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license
  • Minimum of 2 years recent CVOR or operating room experience
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Strong knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures and instrumentation
  • Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
