CVOR Registered Nurse - Operating room | Richardson, Texas

• 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

Key Qualifications:

• Current and unrestricted RN license
• Proven experience in a CVOR setting
• Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent communication and patient advocacy abilities
• BLS and ACLS certifications (active and up-to-date)
• Adaptability to evolving surgical procedures and protocols

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver expert preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative nursing care for cardiovascular cases
• Assist the surgical team with cardiovascular procedures, maintaining strict adherence to sterile techniques
• Monitor vital signs, anticipate complications, and respond swiftly to emergent situations
• Administer medications and maintain accurate documentation throughout perioperative phases
• Communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff to optimize patient safety
• Educate patients and support families throughout the surgical process
