As a CVOR RN, you will have opportunities to develop new skills, work with leading medical technologies like EPIC and Omnicell, and manage unique cardiac diagnoses such as CAD, AS, and MR. Schedule/Hours
- Two 10-hour shifts per week
- On-call up to 7 days per four-week schedule (including one full weekend)
- 13-week assignment
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of recent CVOR RN experience
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (associate's degree)
- Current NY State RN license
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
Responsibilities
- Provide expert CVOR nursing care for adult patients
- Work 1:1 patient ratios in a 2-bed unit
- Use EPIC and Omnicell for documentation and medication management
- Float to sister units if census is low
- Participate in on-call rotation as required
