Travel Registered Nurse CVOR | Rome, New York

As a CVOR Registered Nurse in this dynamic hospital setting, you’ll collaborate with leading cardiac surgical teams and engage with advanced technology such as EPIC and Omnicell. Immerse yourself in high-acuity procedures for adult patients facing complex diagnoses, expanding your hands-on expertise. Schedule:

• Two 10-hour shifts per week
• On-call up to 7 days per 4-week schedule, including one full weekend
• 13-week assignment

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year CVOR RN experience
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate’s degree or higher)
• Current New York State RN license
• ACLS and BLS certifications required

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care to adults undergoing cardiovascular surgeries (ratios 1:1, 2 beds)
• Assess, plan, and document patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary team members
• Employ EPIC for patient charting and Omnicell for medication dispensing
• Float to related units if census is low
