Travel CVOR Registered Nurse - Operating room | Rome, New York

Schedule/Hours:

• Two 10-hour shifts per week
• On-call up to 7 days per four-week schedule, including at least one full weekend
• 13-week assignment

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license for New York State
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in CVOR
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (associate’s degree or higher)
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS

Unit Details:

• Patient demographic: Adults
• Number of Beds: 2
• Core patient diagnoses: CAD, AS, MR
• Advanced technology: EPIC, Omnicell systems
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:1
• Floating to other units may occur during census fluctuations

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive perioperative nursing care for CVOR patients
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary surgical teams to ensure optimal outcomes
• Adapt to evolving procedures and routinely advance your clinical skill set
• Maintain accurate records using EPIC
• Respond to on-call requests efficiently and with professional composure
