Schedule:

  • 4×10-hour shifts per week (GWW 40)
  • Day shifts with varied hours
  • Rotational coverage for weekdays, weekends, and holidays
  • Minimum of 14 call shifts required during the contract

Key Qualifications:

  • Active California RN license
  • Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (annual renewal required per facility policy)
  • At least two years of recent CVOR experience
  • At least one year of experience as a travel RN
  • Strong clinical judgment and ability to perform effectively in high-acuity environments

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide top-level perioperative care to cardiovascular surgery patients
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the OR team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
  • Monitor patient condition throughout procedures and respond quickly to any adverse changes
  • Maintain surgical instruments and sterile environment according to protocol
  • Accurately document all aspects of patient care and surgical procedures
  • Participate actively in call rotation, including required weekday, weekend, and holiday shifts
